FLASH SSD 新版本6.4新增功能说明 [复制链接]

PC-3000 Flash SSD Edition has got a new version 6.4.

New features are available NOW! They are the following:
  • Full support of Intel SSD drive based on Postville controller (with solution for BAD_CTX, BAD_FW and NO_FW bugs)!
  • New Active Utility for Toshiba SSD drives based on JMF616 controllers
  • Translator for SM3257EN controllers family
  • A lot of new XOR, memory chips, ECC, and other resources!
  • New preparation options for modern flash drives
  • New algorithms for reading problem TLC/MLC chips
  • Serious improvements and optimizations of PC-3000 software components

Besides, this version contains the following additional innovations:
Readout mode
  • During the first launch of readout mode, users can select the count of passes for selected map;
  • If readout mode result is completely different from previous reading result, PC-3000 Flash will show special window where user can compare two results in HEX view;
  • New settings were added to the readout mode:
  • Power supply control for cases of getting the page filled by 0x30 0x30 0x30;
  • Turning off power supply after memory chip reading completion;
  • Power cycle performing till the next page is not appeared correctly or adjusted option is added;
  • "Statistic Handler" flag that allows user to disable mathematical processing during the chip readout and increase the speed of this mode;
  • "Read Retry" function for hardware retries reading. This feature allows to increase the quality of readout by reading.

Page Designer
  • New ability to copy a selected part of the page;
  • New function that allows to jump to the same position from the Page Designer to the Service Information mode;
  • New option of real page size detection was added. It allows to ignore a group of FF FF FF bytes at the end of the each page, that were not used by controller.
  • New ECC auto-detection by current page function was added. In case of successful correction, it allows to see correct page with fixed bytes marked by red color. This function helps to estimate the number of bit errors on a page.

PC-3000 Flash SSD Edition Active Utilities Set
  • New extended support for Intel SSD G2 (Postville) and G3 (Postville Refresh) were added. Now its possible to find solutions for the most common problems like "NO_FW", "NO_CTX" and "BAD_CTXxxxx" bugs. Utility provides 2 modes for recovery:
    • Through SSD tech commands;
    • Through extended tech commands including manual translator building for getting better result.
      • New features for Samsung 830 active utility were added:
      • Loader uploading into the RAM;
      • Testing of drive memory chips;
      • Factory reset;
      • Reading and writing microcode of SSD;
      • Data "RAW" reading from memory chips;
      • Possibility for the translator to build and read data through the active utility in DE.
    • New Active Utility for Jmicron/Toshiba (JMF616) SSD drives was added;
    • For the task creation based on the active utility it is possible to take into account the occurrence of errors, handle them correctly and not to interrupt data access on SSD drive;
    • For the task creation based on active utility it is possible to create a copy of the data, providing one-shot access to every sector on the damaged SSD;
    • Sector by sector copy methods for SSD drives was added;
    • During PC-3000 Flash installation, it has become possible to choose path for the SSD Utilities profile.
    • New resources of "SSD Reference" were added. They contain pictures and description for Intel, Marwell and Indilinx based SSD drives. (Resources are available within user’s personal update boxes);
    • Other changes, bug fixes and improvements in Active Utilities mode of PC-3000 Flash SSD Edition.

    PC-3000 Flash Resources
    • New XOR patterns were added;
    • New translator Type 47 for SM3257 controller was added;
    • New types of memory chips were added into the PC-3000 Flash database;
    • New type of resources that is called "Scripts" were added into the database;
    • New type of ECC autodetection was added. It allows to use deeper scanning for ECC. It is useful when "fast" autodetection does not provide any good result;
    • On any string in transform graph it is possible to check all details about current result including block number in sectors, page size in bytes and in sectors. This information is showed in information string below the explorer window;
    • In Service Information mode it is possible to move to block beginning, that is currently in selected sector position;
    • When "Direct Reading mode" is activated, it is marked with blue circle on memory chips node;
    • New ability of adding versions for all possible results was added into the "data quality analysis" mode;
    • New ability of automatic matching versions to root after image building was added;
    • New function of "Raw recovery (for row)" was added. It allows to launch RAW recovery for all results in one common string. It is useful for cases when user wants to analyze RAW results for all separated parts\chips at the same time;
    • Service Information mode can display the marker via the user script that had been added.
    • When one or more chips are situated in direct reading mode, it is possible to perform reading into the dump without removing previous results;
    • Enhanced support for 8-byte chip ID;
    • New data preparation mode "Cut sectors inblock" was added. That's effective when the capacity of some memory chips is artificially reduced by the non-use of certain pages of blocks;
    • New data preparation mode "Changing of page size" was added. That's effective when user need to adapt previous read dumps for the required parameters (for example – for XOR) without re-reading them;
    • Divided power schemes for different types of package (TSOP-48 and TLGA-52) within the memory chips parameters were added. (For each type implemented a visual editor of pin-out states);
    • New extended functionality for Block Number type 1 [0000]. For now, it is possible to specify the source of marker, block number and page number using the script created by user;
    • ECC correction was added into background analysis. It is possible to perform ECC correction on the stage of the memory chip reading;
    • Newly added function allows to change memory chip reading parameters in real time for Direct Reading mode. This feature is available in the dialog box from menu "Options" at required memory chips node;
    • "Block size detection" feature was modified to work with MLC and TLC memory chips;
    • In the case of connection loss between PC-3000 Flash reader and PC, software will offer to reconnect it without any interruption or current task termination;
    • Other changes, bug fixes and improvements in Kernel mode of PC-3000 Flash SSD Edition.
